My sister, Ellen called me one day and told me how her daughter, Kristen, was devestated  that her high school friend had become a casualty of the Iraq war.  I asked my sister to ask Kristen if I could make a flag case for her friend..... which after asking the family of Andrew, she graciously accepted.

I did not know Andrew, but my heart went in to this project..... how could it not.
